This study included quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The population in the study was all employees, with a total of 118 employees. The sample in this study amounted to 54 employees with techniques stratified proportional random sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire) using a Likert scale that is tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression testing through the SPSS 16.00 computer program. The results showed that: 1) Compensation of employees at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi was mostly in the unfavorable category of 40.76%. 2) Employee productivity is mostly in the bad category, 59.25%. 3) The coefficient of determination R Square is 0.132 and obtains a significance value of 0.007, which means that there is a significant influence of 13.2% between Compensation for employee productivity at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi while 86.8% is influenced by other factors not examined.</em></p> 2020-06-23T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://ijthrs.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/ijthsr/article/view/33 The Effect of Service Quality and Facilities on Visitor Satisfaction at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City 2020-09-24T02:53:43+00:00 masriki . mmas_ricky@yahoo.co.id Aldri Frinaldi aldri@gmail.com <p>The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of service quality and facility quality on visitor satisfaction at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this research is 104,709 tourists visiting Gandoriah Beach. The sample in this study consisted of 398 respondents who were determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% and the acquisition was made through accidental sampling. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis. The findings show that there is a significant influence between the quality of services and facilities individually to the satisfaction of visitors at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City at 57.6% and 45.6%. The joint effect of service and facility quality on visitor satisfaction at Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City was 57.7%. The tourist area of Ombilin coal mine city of Sawahlunto as World Heritage, is said to be sustainable, when the aspects of <em>sustainable tourism</em> are carried out. Then it is said to be not sustainable, if there is an aspect in <em>sustainable tourism</em> there is not yet done. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a type of descriptive research. The selection technique of informant with <em>purposive sampiling</em>. Furthermore, the analysis of the data obtained that the tourism area of the Ombilin coal mine city Sawahlunto as the world heritage has not been sustainable. Judging from the aspects of <em>sustainable tourism</em> of the tourist areas Ombilin coal mine city of Sawahlunto has not fulfilled 100% of these three aspects, namely environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects. Based on the results of the research, tourism in the tourist area Ombilin coal mine city of Sawahlunto as World Heritage can be said to be not sustainable. This study aims to identify and map diving spots as a recreational sport in the Mandeh area.</em></p> <p><em>This type of research is descriptive, which aims to describe and map the Diving Spot as a recreational sport in the Mandeh area. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data display / data presentation, and drawing conclusions and then verification. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview, and documentation.</em></p> <p><em>The results revealed that based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Mandeh area has several beautiful diving spots and has historical value. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach using primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Respondents of this study were 75 street vendors who were on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta to Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Payakumbuh market. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique using the Breaking Point method.
